Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van reefers) to transport goods throughout Miami-Dade County
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols during all operations
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Load/unload cargo using pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided)
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients
- Ensure timely delivery of temperature-sensitive freight
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR and acceptable background check
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts (Friday-Sunday)
- Familiarity with Miami-Dade roadways and traffic patterns
- DOT medical certification current
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred (training available)
