Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for long-haul and regional routes across Louisiana and surrounding states
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Efficiently manage delivery schedules and documentation
- Maintain accurate logs and electronic logging device (ELD) compliance
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Louisiana and regional highway systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Experience with freight handling and securement
