Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo efficiently while ensuring proper securing and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Manage delivery documentation including bills of lading and route optimization
- Maintain professional conduct while representing the company in customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Proficient in using electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and route planning abilities
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- No DUI/DWI convictions within past 5 years
