Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, flatbed, or reefers) within Long Beach metro area
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Document delivery logs and maintain accurate records
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Handle hazardous materials training/certification when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Southern California traffic patterns
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement techniques
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
