Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on regional routes within Texas and surrounding states
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while maintaining strict compliance with DOT regulations
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding shipment status
- Adhere to all safety procedures and contribute to a zero-accident culture
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and HOS compliance
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Twic card preferred (required for some assignments)
