Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, flatbed) across Louisiana and Gulf Coast states
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Complete pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Report mechanical issues and maintain vehicle cleanliness
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with hazmat placarding (preferred but not required)
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong navigation skills and GPS proficiency
- Flexible availability including nights/weekends
- Must reside within 50 miles of New Orleans
