Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul and regional routes across the Northeast Corridor
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while maintaining strict safety compliance
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Collaborate with remote dispatch team for route optimization and real-time updates
- Adhere to HOS regulations and DOT compliance standards
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup operations
- Utilize telematics systems for navigation and performance monitoring
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with NYC traffic patterns and delivery restrictions
- Experience with electronic logging devices and route planning software
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
