Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Load/unload freight efficiently while maintaining accurate delivery documentation
- Optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries and minimize fuel consumption
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding shipment status
- Maintain clean driving record and complete required safety training
- Represent the company professionally in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with minimum 2 years verifiable experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with hazmat regulations (Hazmat endorsement preferred)
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation software
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
