Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) across designated routes in Texas and Illinois
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain electronic logs per DOT regulations
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and timely deliveries
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain clean driving records
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding shipment status
- Complete required paperwork accurately and submit documentation promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Flexibility for regional routes and occasional overnight stays
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement and weight distribution
