Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles in strict accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring cargo integrity and security throughout the transit.
- Perform thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting any issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to Hours of Service (HOS) rules.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by adhering to strict appointment times and professional conduct.
- Report any accidents, incidents, or vehicle maintenance needs promptly to the dispatch team.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- At least 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience (preferred).
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to undergo additional training for Hazmat, Tanker, or Flatbed endorsements if required.
