Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional freight delivery within Oklahoma and surrounding states
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance documentation
- Adhere to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and all company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation while maintaining on-time delivery schedules
- Load/unload freight securely with proper weight distribution and securement techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse personnel
- Submit electronic logs and delivery reports through our mobile fleet management system
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with cargo securement rules and hazmat placarding (Hazmat endorsement preferred)
- Strong navigation skills and knowledge of Oklahoma regional highways
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Basic smartphone proficiency for electronic logging and communication
