Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) on assigned routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo accurately and securely.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Keep the vehicle clean and in good mechanical condition.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Clean driving record and willingness to pass a background check.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic math skills for cargo verification.
- Willingness to undergo on-the-job training for new drivers.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
