Job Summary:

Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely on assigned night routes within the Sacramento area and surrounding regions.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing of freight.
- Maintain accurate logs using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and adhere to DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle interior and exterior.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B (Must be current).
- Current Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Card.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR check required, no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Willingness to work night shifts (typically 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
