Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van/trailers) during night shift hours
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and document maintenance needs
- Load/unload freight with proper securing techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Respond to route adjustments or emergencies professionally
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (required)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR and no preventable accidents in 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (typically 8 PM - 4 AM)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
