Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles on local and regional routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and paperwork, including delivery receipts.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL with a clean driving record (no more than 1 moving violation in the last 3 years).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong communication skills and customer service attitude.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
