Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks and tractor-trailers on various routes.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (DVIR) and delivery documentation.
- Ensure strict adherence to all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify mechanical issues.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of interstate and intrastate traffic laws.
