Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) to transport goods to designated locations on time and in full.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Document all delivery and pickup details accurately in electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and handling of merchandise.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of cargo securement and safety regulations.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
