Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) across regional routes and urban delivery zones
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations, HOS protocols, and DOT requirements
- Deliver freight on time while prioritizing customer satisfaction and cargo security
- Utilize GPS navigation systems to optimize routes and maintain delivery schedules
- Document delivery receipts and handle paperwork with precision
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation software
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and operate in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Nevada traffic laws and highway systems
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
