Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) within designated routes across Missouri and surrounding states
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations, DOT requirements, and company safety protocols
- Perform pre-trip inspections, basic maintenance checks, and document all vehicle conditions
- Manage delivery schedules with precision while maintaining exceptional customer service standards
- Utilize electronic logging systems and GPS technology for route optimization and real-time tracking
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient load handling and delivery confirmations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and submit required paperwork promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety procedures
- Proficient in using electronic logging devices and transportation software
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Flexibility for regional overnight travel (1-3 nights per week)
