Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles in varying weather and traffic conditions.
- Perform detailed pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring the safety of the freight and the public.
- Maintain accurate records using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and logbooks.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable professional driving experience.
- Current DOT Medical Card (or ability to obtain one).
- Pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Ability to operate different types of trailers (Dry Van, Refrigerated, or Flatbed).
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
