Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A) safely and efficiently over assigned routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety compliance.
- Load and secure cargo according to weight, balance, and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Interact professionally with customers during pickup and delivery to ensure satisfaction.
- Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations, company policies, and traffic laws.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and report any vehicle issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Current DOT Medical Card (Medical Examiner's Certificate).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience (Preferred).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
