Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) safely and efficiently on various routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload cargo using proper safety equipment and techniques.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery logs.
- Ensure compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience preferred (entry level candidates with clean records are considered).
- Must possess a clean driving record and be insurable under our company policy.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Strong commitment to safety and time management.
