Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or Class B) to deliver freight on time.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation as required by DOT regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical ability to lift, push, and pull cargo weighing up to 50lbs.
