Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and comply with all DOT regulations
- Deliver freight on time while adhering to delivery schedules and routes
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members
- Load/unload cargo with precision and proper safety protocols
- Represent Mountain State Transport with professionalism at all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends
- Strong knowledge of Colorado roadways and mountain driving techniques
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally
