Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) in compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Plan efficient routes to meet delivery schedules while prioritizing safety
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance reports
- Load/unload cargo with proper securing techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records (ELD)
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Adapt to changing conditions while maintaining on-time performance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Washington/Idaho/Oregon routes
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
