Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul freight transport
- Maintain strict adherence to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Ensure secure cargo handling and customer service excellence
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Current DOT medical certification
- Proven safety record with no preventable accidents in past 2 years
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Familiarity with California highway systems and port operations
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred (training provided)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
