Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) in compliance with DOT regulations
- Transport freight to/from distribution centers and client locations
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Load/unload cargo using appropriate equipment (forklift, pallet jack)
- Deliver exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Report maintenance issues and vehicle defects promptly
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Maryland traffic laws and routes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Flexibility for early morning/late evening shifts
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement techniques
- Strong communication and time-management skills
