Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles (dry van or refrigerated)
- Adhere to DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Load/unload freight with proper documentation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and mileage records
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance
- Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Operate in all weather conditions with defensive driving practices
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Flexibility for regional routes (3-5 day trips)
- Transportation security clearance preferred
