Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional deliveries within Illinois
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections to ensure DOT compliance
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology for on-time deliveries
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation per FMCSA regulations
- Collaborate with logistics team for real-time route adjustments
- Represent our company with professionalism at all customer sites
- Participate in continuous safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of Illinois roadways and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including early mornings
