Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) following FMCSA regulations
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes while meeting strict deadlines
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device records
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Collaborate with dispatch to optimize route efficiency and troubleshoot issues
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and hazmat procedures (if applicable)
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices and route navigation systems
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Must be 23+ years old with 2+ years experience OR 21+ with military driving experience
