Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A Commercial Motor Vehicles (CMVs) on various routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring weight distribution and securing freight properly.
- Maintain accurate logs (DOT 30/70/1445) and daily delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
- Willingness to travel regionally or long-haul depending on route assignment.
