Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul routes across Texas
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintenance checks to ensure vehicle compliance
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage delivery documentation and electronic logging systems
- Collaborate with logistics team for optimal route planning and on-time deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Maintain clean driving record and professional appearance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical loading tasks
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Knowledge of Texas highway systems and weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexible schedule including overnight stays and weekend availability
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
