Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul and regional routes throughout Florida
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route planning and delivery timelines
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation in accordance with DOT standards
- Load/unload freight with precision and proper handling techniques
- Represent Sunshine Logistics with professionalism in all client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Current DOT medical certification
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Proficiency in using electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of Florida roadways and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in varying weather conditions
