Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van and refrigerated trailers) within Seattle metro and surrounding areas
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS systems while adapting to traffic and weather conditions
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance requirements
- Handle freight documentation and secure cargo according to industry standards
- Maintain clean driving record and represent company professionally with clients
- Collaborate with dispatch team for on-time deliveries and pickup coordination
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in all weather conditions
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices and route navigation systems
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to pass background check and provide employment references
- Knowledge of Washington State commercial vehicle regulations
