Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across the Mid-Atlantic region
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency and on-time performance
- Handle cargo loading/unloading with proper equipment and techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and clients
- Represent the company professionally at all customer interaction points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS systems
- Strong knowledge of Baltimore metro area and surrounding regions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
