Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for regional freight delivery and distribution
- Perform comprehensive pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance logs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to optimize delivery routes and timelines
- Handle secure cargo loading/unloading procedures with precision
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide real-time updates on shipment status and route conditions
- Complete necessary paperwork and digital documentation for each assignment
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and random drug screening requirements
- Proficient in electronic logging device (ELD) systems
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong navigation skills with GPS technology expertise
- Excellent time management and communication abilities
