Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) on local, regional, and OTR routes.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to resolve delivery issues.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B license required.
- Current Medical Card and DOT physical certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Willingness to travel to North Carolina and surrounding regions.
