Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods across designated routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation per DOT regulations
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with dispatch to optimize routes and ensure on-time deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Adhere to all safety protocols and HAZMAT guidelines when applicable
- Utilize telematics systems for route optimization and vehicle monitoring
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with Georgia roadways and delivery regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong communication and time-management skills
