Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) following DOT regulations
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Plan efficient routes to meet delivery deadlines while prioritizing safety
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse teams
- Document all delivery exceptions and maintain compliance paperwork
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) in good standing
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and hazmat endorsement a plus
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for regional routes and overnight stays
