Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) over regional routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Minimize fuel consumption through efficient route planning
- Represent the company professionally at all customer sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of NC/SC/Virginia route networks
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Flexibility for weekend/evening shifts as needed
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
