Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional freight delivery
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper securing techniques
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding delivery status and route conditions
- Complete required paperwork and electronic logging accurately
- Represent Premier Logistics with professionalism in customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR and no major preventable accidents in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally
- Strong commitment to safety and punctuality
- Flexibility to work variable schedules including early mornings
