Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local/regional routes within Chicago metro area
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain DOT compliance documentation
- Load/unload materials using appropriate equipment while adhering to safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch for real-time route adjustments and delivery confirmations
- Represent company with professional conduct during customer interactions
- Report maintenance issues and participate in vehicle upkeep programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
- Strong knowledge of Chicago area traffic patterns and delivery zones
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD) and basic navigation apps
