Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A CDL vehicles for weekend delivery routes across Indianapolis metro area
- Accurately load/unload freight using pallet jacks and forklift equipment
- Maintain detailed delivery logs and electronic tracking systems
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization and schedule adherence
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs regularly and operate pallet jacks
- Strong knowledge of Indianapolis metro area geography
- DOT medical certification and required documentation
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts)
- Pass background check and drug screening
