Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods on time and in perfect condition
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle maintenance logs
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to maximize efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Handle documentation including delivery confirmations and inventory reports
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges proactively
- Assist with loading/unloading operations as required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Raleigh area and surrounding regions
- Proficiency in using navigation apps and delivery software
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
