Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for nighttime deliveries across Miami-Dade County
- Execute precise loading/unloading procedures with electronic scanning documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle maintenance logs
- Navigate optimized routes using GPS while adhering to DOT regulations
- Manage inventory reconciliation and delivery verification processes
- Communicate proactively with dispatch teams and clients regarding delivery status
- Implement safety protocols for hazardous materials handling when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with HazMat endorsement preferred
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and route navigation systems
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM) with weekend/holiday coverage
- Pass DOT physical and pre-employment background/drug screening
- Deep knowledge of Miami roadways and traffic patterns
