Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A delivery vehicles in and around the Miami area.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks, dollies, and forklifts (if applicable).
- Inspect vehicles daily for mechanical issues and report any damages immediately.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients at delivery sites.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal DOT regulations and safety protocols.
- Keep the cab and cargo area clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong understanding of road safety and traffic laws.
- Basic math skills for calculating fuel and mileage.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during shifts.
