Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods on established routes throughout Texas and surrounding states
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and problem resolution
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize route efficiency and meet delivery deadlines
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including secure cargo handling and defensive driving techniques
- Report maintenance issues promptly and coordinate vehicle servicing
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD) and basic navigation systems
- Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for irregular schedules and overnight routes as needed
