Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles to transport goods safely and on schedule
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Follow DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records
- Adapt to changing routes and delivery priorities
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year driving experience (new CDL holders welcome)
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of vehicle safety systems
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Excellent customer service communication skills
