Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A or B commercial vehicles to deliver products on time and in perfect condition
- Plan and optimize daily delivery routes using GPS technology to maximize efficiency
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance records
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment while adhering to safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and issue resolution
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety standards without exception
- Complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate digital logs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and operate pallet jacks/forklifts
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Strong knowledge of Sacramento metro area and surrounding routes
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Basic computer literacy for digital logging systems
- Must pass comprehensive background check
