Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles over designated routes across Texas
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and documentation
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and securement techniques
- Maintain accurate logs and comply with DOT regulations
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and defensive driving practices
- Operate in various weather conditions while maintaining schedule
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license (or willingness to obtain with company training)
- No prior commercial driving experience required
- Ability to pass background check and DOT physical
- Basic math skills for weight distribution calculations
